Rob Vincent Statement: Thank You, Jefferson County — Moving Forward Together After the Democratic Primary for House District 99
Charles Town, WV — After tonight’s Democratic primary, Rob Vincent, Democratic candidate for the West Virginia House of Delegates in District 99, released the following statement focused on working people, community power, and accountability:
“Friends and neighbors — thank you. Today, I want to congratulate Regina Dyer on her victory in the Democratic primary for House District 99. Putting your name on the ballot takes grit, and she earned this win by showing up and doing the work. I wish her strength and success as she heads into the general election against Wayne Clarke.
To everyone who stood with our campaign — the folks who supported my campaign, made calls, put up signs, and talked with neighbors at kitchen tables and on front porches — I’m deeply grateful. You proved what I believe to my core: when regular people come together, we can take on the politics-as-usual crowd and fight for working families, strong schools, and a Jefferson County that works for all of us.
This campaign may be over tonight, but the work isn’t. I’ll keep showing up — listening, organizing, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with you — to keep the spotlight on the issues that matter: good-paying jobs, affordable healthcare, safe communities, and government that answers to the people who live here, not the insiders who cash in.
Thank you for the honor of being part of this democratic process. Let’s keep showing up for each other — and let’s keep moving forward together.”
I would like to thank everyone who voted and volunteered in this year’s primary. Our campaign remains committed to growing civic engagement across Jefferson County — because democracy is strongest when working people have a real say. Let’s keep looking up, not sideways, and demand accountability from the powerful interests that try to run our politics for their own benefit.
As always,
Warm regards,
Robert M. Vincent
